The energy at the recent DRT Expo in Beijing was electric, and our HelloDive booth was right in the middle of it all. We were swarmed with divers, from seasoned pros to curious newcomers, all buzzing with excitement to learn about a part of the world that still feels like a beautiful secret: the South Pacific.
Our team, in partnership with Fiji Airways, was met with an unprecedented level of engagement. Attendees were eager to look beyond the familiar dive spots and explore the myserious of the South Pacific's island nations.People weren't asking simple questions. They wanted to know everything about logistics, unique wildlife, and local experiences. Our team was thrilled to give them one-on-one advice, sharing details about six incredible destinations: Fiji, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu, and Australia.
From Expo Floor to Digital Buzz: The Power of Online Engagement
The fun didn't stop at the event. We took the excitement online with a campaign on Xiaohongshu, one of China's most popular social media platforms.
The campaign invited followers to share their dream South Pacific destination and their personal reasons for wanting to go there. The response was overwhelming, with hundreds of users actively participating, sharing incredibly creative and heartfelt reasons for their wanderlust. Their heartfelt stories of seeking adventure, tranquility, or unique wildlife encounters underscored the emotional connection they have with the idea of a dive trip.
The campaign concluded on August 15th with a thrilling prize draw. The grand prize winner, a lucky adventurer, was awarded a complimentary round-trip ticket from Hong Kong to Fiji, generously provided by Fiji Airways. In addition, one second-place and three third-place winners were also selected, rewarding their passion for diving and exploration.
