HelloDive becomes strategic partner of Deep Roots Dive & Yoga Resort in Greater China

We are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with Deep Roots Dive & Yoga Resort in Nusa Penida, Bali. Through this partnership, HelloDive will support Deep Roots in developing its presence and reach across Greater China, including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Located southeast of Bali, Nusa Penida has become one of Indonesia’s best-known diving destinations. Its surrounding waters are particularly known for encounters with manta rays and seasonal sightings of mola mola, while strong currents, drift dives and varied underwater topography offer plenty for more experienced divers to explore.

Deep Roots Dive & Yoga Resort brings together professional diving, wellness and a relaxed island-resort experience. Alongside its dive centre and experienced local guide team, the resort offers thoughtfully designed garden and mountain-view bungalows, an infinity pool, on-site dining and a dedicated Yoga Shala.

The result is a stay that allows guests to combine active days underwater with a slower, more restorative experience on land.

HelloDive has long focused on introducing high-quality dive travel products to the Chinese-speaking market. As Chinese travellers place greater emphasis not only on the diving itself, but also on safety, accommodation, service and the overall travel experience, we see growing potential in this Dive + Wellness concept.

Nusa Penida is particularly well positioned for this type of traveller. Its proximity to Bali makes it relatively easy to incorporate into a wider Indonesia itinerary, while the combination of diving, scenery and wellness activities also appeals to couples, friends and mixed-interest groups who may not want every part of their trip to revolve around diving.

For travellers arriving through Bali, the journey to Nusa Penida is also straightforward. From Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), Sanur Harbour is approximately 30 minutes away by car under normal traffic conditions, followed by a speedboat crossing of around 30 to 45 minutes.

Beyond diving, Nusa Penida is also known for its dramatic coastal landscapes, including Kelingking Beach and Broken Beach. These provide additional options for land-based exploration, particularly on non-diving days or before flying.

Through this partnership, HelloDive will work with the Deep Roots team on Chinese-market content, product development, distribution and community engagement, helping more Chinese travellers discover both the resort and Nusa Penida as a destination.

For Deep Roots, the partnership provides a more direct connection with China’s dive travel community. For HelloDive, it adds another distinctive Indonesia product to our growing network of resort and dive partners across Southeast Asia.
